Women Make Great Dog Trainers
"I will challenge gender stereotypes, discrimination, and bias" Your gender should not forge/hold back your future. I'm making my way in the world of dog training and adulting in general, with support yes, but I make the decisions (good and bad).
I'm 5ft5 and slight, but I can hold my own with any size of dog, no matter what some people may comment ("who's walking who?" "Ooo, you've got your hands full" etc). My physical strength and stature does not determine whether I have control over myself and dogs. I use my intelligence, my common sense, and my experience (as do many male dog trainers I might add. This is not a man damning post at all!).
I'm also learning how to run a house (financially and emotionally) solo. I feel even more of an adult now (even though I have been one for 11 years now 😅).
My two girls are my pillars. They have taught me so much and are always there for me (and vice versa) 🐶
