Believe in yourself and your dog(s) ✨
Confidence, as well as having skill/receiving guidance from others is key when handling dogs and ensuring that the handling is tailored to the individual dog.
Having a dog can be extremely difficult. Even if you are sensible and prepare. Even if you're a Trainer. There is no shame in this.
I come up against hurdles with my own pack regularly. What makes me a good handler and trainer (and thereby makes my dogs pretty darn good) is that I troubleshoot the issues and tweak what needs to be tweaked; by myself and with help from others. This means that I am well versed in doing the same thing for my clients' dogs (each dog I work with teaches me something).
If you're struggling, I highly suggest reaching out to a trainer. You are welcome to message me.
If I can't help you (due to distance, availability, or a particular issue) then I'm pretty damn sure I can recommend awesome fellow trainers (all over the country and the world actually).
